RateMyNeighbourhood.ca was built to help Ontario families and homebuyers compare neighbourhoods across the province. We rate every neighbourhood on five categories — safety, schools, transit, walkability, and amenities — so you can make an informed decision about where to live.
We cover 700+ neighbourhoods across 68 Ontario cities. Each neighbourhood profile includes an overall rating, category breakdowns, estimated home prices, property tax estimates, pros and cons, and links to nearby school rankings on our sister site OntarioSchoolRankings.ca.
Our ratings are compiled from public data sources including Statistics Canada census data, municipal records, transit accessibility metrics, and community feedback. Each category is scored out of 10, and the overall rating is a weighted average. Ratings are estimates and should be used as a starting point alongside your own research and in-person visits.
